Good to meet you
STORYTELLER
OLDEST CHILD
OVER SHARER
AND KEEN COFFEE DRINKER
Hi! I’m Ruby, head portrait photographer and owner of Pixels & Prints Imagery. I’m kind of obsessed with honest moments, beautiful light, and the kind of images that feel like you. The giggles, the chaos, the quiet in-between, the way your people look at you when you’re not paying attention… that’s the magic I’m always chasing.
My approach is a mix of gentle direction and documentary storytelling, so you’ll never feel stiff or awkward. I’ll guide you when you need it, hype you up when you’re nervous, and step back when the real moments start unfolding. Whether you’re celebrating your wedding day, growing your family, or building a brand you’re proud of, I’m here to document your story with heart, intention, and a timeless film-inspired touch.

MY JOURNEY
THROUGH RUBYS EYES
GRADUATED COLLEGE
Graduated from Antelope Valley College with my Associates degree in Fine Art Photography.
With a love for portraiture, I ventured into the world of photography.

MY FIRST JOB AS A PHOTOGRAPHER
My first real job as a photographer. The evening/crime photographer at the Antelope Valley Press. This job shaped the way I see everything to this day. It taught me how to anticipate real moments as they unfold, work quickly in any lighting, and tell a story with honesty… not perfection. I learned to capture emotion in a way that feels natural, unposed, and full of life.
That experience is still at the heart of how I photograph today. Whether it’s a wedding day or a family session, I’m always looking for the in-between moments, the laughter, the happy tears, the little glances because those are the memories that matter most.

Got Married!
I met the man I would marry in 2011. And we tied the knot in the fall of 2014. Jonathan and I are now happily married for over 11 years. We have two beautiful boys, ages 6 and 10.
Becoming a mother would change alot more for us than we thought.

The Birth of Pixels & Prints
While working at the Valley Press my husband and I, both photographers and lovers of art, would shoot weddings and events on the weekends. Jonathan would shoot video and I would photograph… hence the name Pixels & Prints Imagery was born.
In December of 2015 we welcomed our first son. Although working at the Valley Press was my passion, being a mother and raising my children became my new passion. I made the hard decision to leave my cozy desk job for the unknown. And started Pixels & Prints Imagery in February of 2016.
Jonathan’s personal career was also taking off as we began Pixels & Prints. He soon found himself unable to continue shooting on the weekends. And we, became Me. Jonathan found a deep calling for his career in aerospace, and I’ve continued to grow Pixels & Prints Imagery.
